be removed by the Company and any areas disturbed in obtain-

ing earth to be trimmed off and left in a tidy condition to

the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works on com-

pletion of the reclamațion.

(f). The Company to surrender to Government, subject to payment

by Government of the sum of $40,000 by way of compensation

for the structures of a permanent nature hereinafter refer-

red to,

their present lot (Hunghom Inland Lot 226). Such

surrender to be made within a period of 3 years from the

date of the letter mentioned in (c): provided that, if the

Company can satisfy the Government that they have been

unable to obtain, within the aforesaid period of 3 years,

the machinery they require to enable them to complete the

transfer of their station to the new site, an extension of

time will be granted to them,

(g). The Company to be permitted to remove from Hunghom Inland

Lot 226 all temporary structures, all machinery and stores,

provided that such removal be completed within the aforesaid

period of 3 years or within such extended period as may be

allowed by Government under clause (f). Any structures,

machinery or stores not removed within such period to

become the property of the Government. All structures of a

permanent nature, (constructed of brickwork and stone, &c.),

situated on Hunghom Inland Lot 226, to become the property

of the Government. The fencing along the north-east and

south-east sides of the lot to become the property of the

Goverment: that along the remaining sides of the lot may

be removed by the Company.

(h). Crown rent to continue to be paid for Hunghom Inland Lot

226 as at present up to the date of its being surrendered

to Government.
